WUHAN: No new confirmed, asymptomatic or suspected cases of COVID-19 were reported in central China’s Hubei Province Monday, the provincial health commission said Tuesday.
By Monday, Hubei still had three close contacts under medical observation. The province cleared its confirmed cases on Aug. 31.
Hubei has reported a total of 68,139 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and 63,627 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovery. The disease claimed 4,512 lives in the province. – Agencies
