CPEC has changed Pakistan’s future: President RCCI

ISLAMABAD: The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has changed the future of Pakistan, by creating lots of business opportunities, said President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Nasir Mirza. Nasir Mirza said that China is a time-tested friend of Pakistan and both the countries are enjoying brotherly relations, in an exclusive interview to China Economic Net. He said that the road infrastructure under CPEC is one of the great achievements in Pakistan, as it has reduced the distance between the cities, which are essential and beneficial for business activities.
Talking about the Rashakai Economic Zone, ML-1, Nowshera, President RCCI said that once the economic zone is functional, everyone will see the boom in the commercial activities in this region.
He said the business community has started looking for new ventures even before the completion of the Special Economic Zone.
Mr Nasir Mirza said that during COVID-19 Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has arranged online meetings and sessions for Pakistani and Chinese business community to discuss the new commercial ventures. He said Rawalpindi Chamber is going to arrange a conference for the business community in Gwadar in which they will discuss the new commercial opportunities and joint ventures for Pakistani and Chinese companies.
He hoped CPEC would bring Pakistan and China closer and strengthen the brotherly relationship.
