CP starts training ahead of opening QEA Trophy match

Karachi: Defending champions Central Punjab has started their preparations to retain the prestigious Quaid-e-Azam trophy, scheduled to start from October 25.
Central Punjab under the leadership of Azhar Ali will take on Sindh at National Stadium. The squad practiced at their full-strength at the same venue today.
The side has received a massive boost ahead of the QEA as both Ahmed Shehzad and Hasan Ali are back after missing the National T20 Cup due to injuries.
Central Punjab – Azhar Ali (captain), Saad Nasim (vice-captain), Ahmed Bashir, Ahmed Safi Abdullah, Ahmed Shahzad, Ali Shan, Bilal Asif, Ehsan Adil, Hasan Ali, Kamran Akmal (wicketkeeper), Mohammad Saad, Qasim Akram, Rizwan Hussain, Salman Butt, Usman Salahuddin and Waqas Maqsood.
