QUETTA: The Cat of PDM finally came out of Bag here on Sunday when the so-called leaders of the so-called movement, launched under the garb of democracy, started exposing their anti-State faces and started executing the plans of the enemy States instead of making any move to oppose the government policies.
It was Owais Noorani of the JUP who came with a hard-hitting speech against Pakistan and called for disintegration of Baluchistan province of Pakistan, pushing forward the decades old conspiracy of India. He was not alone in this anti-State move and was followed by JUI’s Fazlur Rehamn who came with the announcement of rebellion, stating he was not going to abide by the law, constitution as well as the State organs. What was most disturbing during the whole episode here at the PDM rally was that neither PML (N) leader Maryam Nawaz who was sitting right on the same stage, not PPP leader Bilawal Zardari, who participated the rally through a video link, showed no objections when this venom against the State of Pakistan was being emitted by the fellow movement members.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz o said that the people of Baluchistan and Karachi demand that ‘give respect to vote’.
Addressing the rally at Ayub Stadium, Maryam Nawaz said that the real reason behind Balochistan’s problems was that the vote was not given respect.
She said that the PML-N government, in its tenure, had given scholarships to the students of Balochistan in Punjab’s universalities. Maryam Nawaz said that the prevailing government has abolished the scholarships. “The students of Balochistan and Punjab are close to my heart,” she added.
Condemning the publication of blasphemous cartoons to target Islam and Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in France, the PML-N vice president said that the sentiments of the Pakistani nation were hurt after depictions of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) were projected onto the public buildings in the country.
