Hong Kong: Hong Kong police on Sunday confirmed that seven people, six men and one woman aged between 33 and 63 had been arrested for violating Legislative Council regulation.
The police said in a statement that the seven were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of violating the Legislative Council Powers and Privileges Ordinance, specifically the offences of contempt and interference with members. The police said the seven are being detained for investigation, and did not rule out more arrests.
