Suzhou: The 2020 Suzhou Design Week (SDW) is underway in Suzhou, east China’s Jiangsu Province, with Guanqian Street, a century-old shopping street in the city center, transformed into an art exhibition venue.
The street features a variety of art installations and creative exhibits that offer visitors an immersive cultural experience. A total of 27 exhibitions, 25 events, three live broadcasts and 16 sub-venues will be staged throughout the city during the week. It aims to boost the city’s cultural and creative industries by combining intangible cultural heritage and modern art. This year’s event features in-depth integration of Suzhou culture and local characteristics than last year’s design week.
