Bishkek: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kyrgyz Republic Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Sulaiti, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The Qatar ambassador congratulated Kazakbaev on his appointment to the post of minister of foreign affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and wished him further success.
During the meeting, Kazakbaev informed the ambassador about the internal political situation in Kyrgyzstan and noted that at present the situation in the country is stable, the ongoing political processes have returned to the legal field, all branches of government in the Kyrgyz Republic are legitimate, and the executive authorities continue to operate normally.
Also during the meeting, the sides discussed issues of Kyrgyz-Qatari cooperation and prospects for its development in all areas of mutual interest. In particular, the issues of further development of bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic and investment spheres were touched upon.
Kazakbaev noted the importance of the full implementation of the previously reached agreements between the two countries. –Agencies
