Karachi: England’s Joe Denly and Zimbabwe’s Brendon Taylor replaced COVID-19 positives James Vince and Mahmudullah in Multan Sultans’ squad for PSL 5 playoffs.
Vince and Mahmudullah were forced out of the event after their COVID-19 Test returned positive at their home countries. Both the cricketers have isolated themselves.
Denly and Taylor will be tested twice before entering to PSL playoffs bio-secure bubble. Taylor is currently representing Zimbabwe in the T20I series against Pakistan. It must be noted here that PSL’s knockout stage will be played from November 14 to 17 at National Stadium. – Agencies
