ISLAMABAD: PS Kohsar police caught accused supplying drugs at educational institutions and various ares of the city and recovered Heroin, Hashish and Ice.
According to details, following the orders of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan, DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed had categorically directed all police officers to accelerate their efforts against drug dealers/smugglers to purge this menace from the city.
Following these directions, SP City Circle Muhammad Omer Khan constituted special anti-drug police team under supervision of ASP Ayesha Gul including PS Kohsar’s SHO SI Shabbir Ahmed Tanoli, Sub-Inspectors Nawazish Khan along with others officials. The team nabbed a drug pusher from Saidpur and recovered 4 kilograms Hashish, 2 kilogram Heroin and 500 garm Ice from him. The accused was identified as Muzamil Shah ails Zamli.
Moreover, during preliminary investigation, the suspect confessed of their involvement in intercity, smuggling drugs at various educational institutions. A case been registered and further investigation is underway from him. IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed appreciated the police performance.
DIG Operations has said that Capital Cops are accelerating all out efforts for safety and security of citizens. He also requested the citizens to inform police in case of any suspicious activity in their areas.
Cops bust three dacoits
-Snatched cash, three bikes recovered
ISLAMABAD: PS Shams Colony arrested three members of a dacoit’s gang and recovered snatched cash, mobile phones, three motorbikes and weapons from them.
According to details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminal elements. Following these orders, DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city.
Following these directions, SP Industrial Area Zubair Ahmed Sheikh constituted a team to ensure arrest of those involved in it. This team headed by DSP Khalid Mehmood Awan including SHO Shams colony police station Sub- Inspectors Turab-Ul-Hassan, Tajamal Shah and others worked hard and succeeded to arrest three alleged gangsters involved in committing dacoities at gunpoint.
The nabbed dacoits have been identified as Imran s/o Zarmalash, Ishmael s/o Islam Gul and Shohaib s/o Kamran, while police recovered three motorbikes, cash,10 mobile phones and weapons from their possession.
During the preliminary investigation, they confessed their involvement in several dacoity and street crime incidents in twin cities. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
