Faiza Hasan is a Pakistani actress. Faiza has been a part of many hit serial. Her recent appearance in the drama serial Nand as Gohar, earned her a lot of critical and commercial acclamation. People are abhorring the character of Gohara and doting Faiza Hasan’s performance in the drama.
Faiza Hasan appeared in a recent interview and talked about the taboos of our society. “When I signed the drama serial Nand, I really liked the script,” said Faiza Hasan. “It totally depends on you that how you select your roles. I usually select the central character. I choose the scripts in which the story revolved around my character”
“In morning shows they are continuously showing the methods to get slim and fair, you are creating complex in the public.
The same thing is happening in dramas, You don’t want to show the story of a normal-looking person. You want everyone to look like a prince and princess. In this way, you are playing part in escalating body shaming by showing such drams” Faiza added further.
“Those who think that the whole work depends upon looked and weight, then they just care about it. I care about work and acting”
“A change of thinking is needed, as I said every actress is not a princess. If you take this thing out of your mind, body shaming will end itself”
