Two caught for looting jewelers in Super Market

ISLAMABAD: PS Kohsar caught two involved in a dacoity at a jewelry shop in Super Market and looting Rs.four million as well as 400 tola gold from there.
According to details, three accused looted Rs. four million and 400 tola gold at gunpoint from Honey Jewelers situated at Super Market, sector F-6, on 23rd November. Following this incident, PS Kohsar registered a case on the complaint of Sheikh Muhammad Fareed.
IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed directed SP City Omer Khan to trace the culprits. He constituted special team under supervision of ASP Ayesha Gul which included SHO Asjad Mehmud, Sub-Inspector Kamal Khan and others. The team succeeded to arrest two identified as Sadaqat Shah and Adeel involved in this dacoity and recovered weapons as well as ammunition from them.
During preliminary investigation, the accused confessed of committing dacoity along with other accomplices. It has been also revealed that the father of accused Adeel was a security guard at Honey Jeweler shop while the accused was also an employee at Taba Jewelry shop in Super Market.
Further investigation is underway from the nabbed accused and police teams have been constituted to ensure arrests of their accomplices. IGP Islamabad and DIG Operations have appreciated this performance of Kohsar police team and announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for them.

CIA books three drug
smugglers, seize Hash, Ice

ISLAMABAD: Crime Investigation Agency; CIA of Capital Cops booked three drug smugglers and recovered a total of 24 kilograms Hashish and 1060 gram Ice from their possession.
According to details, IGPIslamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminals. Following these orders, DIG Operations has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city. In pursuance of these orders, SP Investigation Malik Naeem Iqbal constituted a special police team under the supervision of DSP Hakim Khan including SIs Ishtiaq Shah, Zafar Iqbal, ASI Sadeer along with others, for special inspection in the area. The team nabbed three drug smugglers identified as Khuram Masih, Saleem and Ameer Rehman and recovered a total of 24 Kilograms Hashish and 1060 gram Ice from their possession.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused at PS Tarnol and PS Shlimar while further investigation is underway from the accused. DIG Operations has appreciated the performance while directing all police officials to remain vigilant in their respective areas and ensure arrest of those involved in ugly business of drug pushing.
