RAWALPINDI: Owing to lack of professional tax advisors in our country, there are a number of constraints and problems with regard to fair collection of taxes and causing panics and worries among the tax payers.
This was stated by Mr. Khalid Nawaz CEO of Knight Human Management (KHM) SHALAAN Pakistan, an agency to protect the rights and jobs of overseas Pakistanis while addressing as chief guest to the students of Tax Advisory Course during a special session held here under KHM on Sunday.
He said the training and preparation of professional tax advisors will help not only making the tax collection fair but also provide a number of job opportunities for our youth in trade and industry. “Our related laws to business tax, professional tax and personal tax are needed to be made public in simple and understandable way to ensure transparent collection of taxes”, he added. The CEO said that KHM is striving hard to promote professional skills and these courses have been designed to produce tax advisors who are the need of our trade, industry and other services providers. These courses will also help our youth to be able to seek respectable and dependable jobs leading towards materializing the successful youth vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Apart from reducing unemployment from the country, the aim of these training courses is also to ensure transparent collection of taxes.
Mr. Khalid said that lack of consciousness regarding business laws including tax payment has resulted in many difficulties and undesirable practices which harm the national exchequer. This also leads to the loss of business community.
“Familiarity with the related laws, including professional tax, personal tax and business tax, and their implementations and implications can also create a myriad of employment opportunities”, he mentioned. He told that the participants of these courses would be trained as professional tax and legal practitioners so that they can easily understand the obstacles and other matters in business to resolve the same professionally. Khalid Nawaz said that we are trying to make our youth self-employed under the vision of PM Imran Khan, and by increasing the number of tax advisors under KHM Training we are reducing un-employment. These training courses also ensure transparent collection of taxes.
