ISLAMABAD: Sabzi Mandi and Homicide Unit of Capital Cops conducted a major operation and booked two accused, involved in murder of truck drivers at Sabzi Mandi and IJP road. The nabbed accused Nizamuddin and Syed Ghulam belong to Afghanistan while two pistols with ammunition were recovered from them.
The accused had killed the truck drivers in two separate incidents on December 30, 2020, SP Zubair Ahmed Sheikh said.
Moreover, during preliminary investigation, the accused revealed that they had committed several incidents. Further investigation is underway from the accused.
IGP Islamabad Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed congratulated the entire police teams.
