NUR-SULTAN: The Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan has announced plans for the development and promotion of the country’s exports to foreign markets, the ministry’s press service said.
The ministry will continue to provide support measures to export-oriented enterprises.
This year, the ministry plans to organize 10 trade and economic missions and two international exhibitions in Shanghai (China) and Dubai (UAE), as a result of which 80 export contracts worth 100 million US dollars are expected to be signed.
A total of 130 new exporters will be brought to foreign markets under the Export Acceleration program. In addition, 50 exporters will be brought to the international electronic platform Alibaba.
In order to encourage domestic exporters to produce high-value-added goods, a package of legislative amendments was adopted that provide for up to 80% of the cost recovery of high-value-added goods and a share of local content.
Also, in order to increase the export of non-primary products, the ministry, together with business and industry departments, launched a project to accelerate the promotion of exports of goods and services with the greatest export potential. – Agencies
