Kazakhstan transfers 4,500 tons of Flour to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek: Humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan has arrived in Bishkek on Tuesday, the Kazakh Embassy in Kyrgyzstan said.
Kazakh Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Rapil Zhoshybaev and Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Azamat Mukashev took part in the ceremony of handing over the first batch of Kazakh humanitarian aid – about 4,500 tons of wheat flour.
“The first batch of humanitarian cargo was delivered by rail in 75 railcars in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological norms,” the report says.
Azamat Mukashev noted the Kyrgyz side highly appreciates the assistance provided by the Kazakh Government and expresses its deep gratitude to the fraternal Kazakh people for their support. ”
In turn, it should be emphasized that Kazakhstan has provided and continues to provide the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan with humanitarian assistance.
In particular, in May 2020, humanitarian aid was sent to Kyrgyzstan in the amount of 5 thousand tons of Kazakh flour worth over USD 3 million. Also in November 2020, Kyrgyzstan was provided another humanitarian aid in the amount of 400 units of respiratory ventilation devices and 2 million medical masks totaling about $ 1 million,” the report read.
The total amount of humanitarian aid transferred is 10 thousand tons of flour. – Agencies
