PCB to wait one more day before a final decision on remaining PSL

Bureau Report

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday said that they will wait for one more day before making a final decision on hosting the remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6.
According to a press release, PCB and franchises owners held a virtual meeting to discuss operational planning and delivery of the remaining 20 matches of the event.
The meeting was conducted after the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s government agreed to host the remaining PSL 6 but under tough conditions. The proposed hosts demanded vaccination of all people involved in the completion of the league in Abu Dhabi.
As per PCB’s source, it was impossible to meet the conditions in a short span of time. The source added that travel issues including the vaccination of participants and officials cannot be done in the given time.
Following the scenario, PCB’s high-ups called a meeting with franchises owners to review and analyze the situation. In the end, it was unanimously agreed to wait until the close of business on Thursday (UAE time) before a final decision on the hosting of the remaining matches is made.
