ISLAMABAD: Institution of Engineers, Pakistan, Rawalpindi-Islamabad Centre (IEP-RIC) organized a CPD lecture on “Contract Management for Infrastructure Projects”.
Engr. Khawaja Hamid Mushtaq, Deputy Director of National Highway Authority (NHA), post graduate from UK and Australia was the resource person of the lecture. The session was conducted by Engr. Ahmad Shamim. Also present on the occasion were Chairman IEP Ehsanulhaq Qazi, Secretary IEP Islamabad and Gp. Capt. Retd. Engr. Najamuddin.
The resource person explained the elements of contract management through a detailed presentation. An explanation about FDIC laws, different types of standard forms and priority of contract documents was given. The lecture was followed by question and answer session, Engr. Hamid Mushtaq responded to the questions of participants.
In his concluding remarks the Chairman IEP thanked the chief guest for providing important information on ‘Contract Management’.–PR
