Islamabad: The US embassy, killing all the roumors of helping out Noor’s killer, for him being national, on Tuesday stated its clear position on the issue. In a message on its Official Twitter Account, the embassy said, “In a foreign country, U.S. citizens are subject to that country’s laws. When Americans are arrested abroad, the Embassy can check on their well-being and provide a list of lawyers, but cannot provide legal advice, participate in court proceedings or effect their releese”. On the other side Islamabad Police has also strongly denied social media news about meeting of U.S. Embassy officials with the accused in custody.
