Man caught for raping, filming boys at gunpoint

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) cybercrime wing on Wednesday arrested one member of a gang involved in raping and filming boys on gunpoint in Islamabad.
As par the details, the accused named Hamid Shehzad, one of the accomplices of a three-member gang was taken into custody by the FIA cybercrime wing in Islamabad.
The gang was involved in raping, filming boys at gunpoint after friendship on social media platforms. The gang has set up its network at Barakaho. One of the accused has been taken into custody, while two others are still at large, the police said and added that the raids are being conducted for the arrest of the remaining accused named Zain and Saifullah.

Eight caught, arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Cops arrested eight outlaws including five bagger-handlers from different areas of the city and recovered weapons from their possession. According to details, under the directives of SSP Operations Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer, the police launched a crackdown against criminals at different localities of the district. Following these directions, PS Koral busted accused Zeeshan and recovered one 30-bore pistol from him. Sabzi Mandi police arrested accused Faiz Muhammad and recovered a 30-bore pistol from him. PS Tarnol nabbed accused Hamid Ali involved in driving public service van without fitness certificate. Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
During a special crackdown against professional beggars and their handlers, the police arrested five handlers from various areas of the city. DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmad Kausar and SSP Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanweer have appreciated Police performance. They also sought cooperation of citizens for effective policing measures in the city.
The SSP also categorically asked all the police officials to focus on resolving the public complaints and take every possible step to provide maximum relief to citizens. He said that performance in this regard would be reviewed on a continuous basis.
