RAWALPINDI: The security forces killed a terrorist during an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) on Friday, Inter Services Public Relations said in a statement.
According to the military’s media wing the Operation was conducted on reported presence of Terrorists in general area Spinwam, North Waziristan.
The statement said that “during intense exchange of fire, one terrorist got killed. Weapon and ammunition recovered from the killed terrorist”. Search of the area was under process to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, it concluded.–ISPR
