13 caught during crackdown against crooks

ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer has said that Islamabad police is trying its best to secure the capital and to ensure the safety of its citizens, a police spokesman said. During the last 24 hours, he said that 13 criminals were arrested during crackdown against outlaws.According to details, Tarnol police arrested accused Aurngzaib and recovered snatched mobile phones and cash from him,
Lohibher police arrested two accused namely Maqsood and Tariq and recovered stolen valuables from their possession. Sabzi Mandi police arrested two bike lifters namely Habibullah and Abdullah and recovered two stolen motorbike from their possession.
Golra police arrested accused Sher Ali and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. I-Area police arrested accused Adeel and recovered one 9mm pistol from him. Nilore police arrested accused Hassan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Koral police arrested two accused Muzamal and Zain-ul- Hassan and recovered two 30 bore pistols. Bhara kahu police arrested Anees, Bani Gala police arrested accused Umer Hayat involved in gas refilling without permission. Shahzad Town police arrested accused Saleem Khan and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmad Kausar and SSP Operations have appreciated this performance of police teams. SSP directed all police officers to continue crackdown against land-grabbers and drug peddler in the Capital. He said that prime responsibility of police is to protect the lives and property of citizens and all out efforts would be made in this regard.
