Faisalabad initiates beautification plan

FAISALABAD: The Parks and Horticulture Authority has started the implementation of the city’s beautification plan to create the natural ecstasy.

In this regard the designs/ models would be installed at various squares as well as the intersections of the city. Director General PHA Asma Ejaz Cheema informed that a beautiful design of needle thread would be installed at GTS Chowk to highlight the identity of the textile. She said that statutes of local legends Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Arfa Karim Randhawa and Sardar Bhagat Singh would be erected at Koh-e-Noor Chowk to pay homage to their timeless services so that the young generation would get awareness of their significant deeds.

The DG further said that work has been started on all the projects in the first phase and very soon the citizens will see these beautiful monuments in the squares and intersections of the city. The department has been working hard to create all possible opportunities for traveling and recreation for its citizens to amuse, calm & attractive sightseeing for them at local level.
