FAISALABAD: As many as 5.99 million people from 12 years age to onwards have been vaccinated from corona so far in the district. Chief Executive Officer District Health Authority Dr. Bilal Ahmad informed that yesterday 33743 persons were vaccinated first and second doze of corona, in which 33668 general public and 75 health care workers were included. He said that 37 vaccination centers are functional where people are being vaccinated. He further informed that teams were placed and active even at bus stands, markets & bazars and in the streets. He applead to the citizen to vaccinate themselves and as well their family members of above 12 years of age and be a responsible citizen so that to save from omicron wave.
