Businessman booked for raping ex-employee, possessing illicit arms

ISLAMABAD: A business man was arrested on charges of raping his former female worker in his house where she arrived to clear her dues with him.
He said police also seized illegal arms and ammunition from the house of accused identified as Caowei during a search in his house.
Two separate cases (rape and possessing illegal arms and ammunition) have been registered against the detained accused, who was put behind the lock up for further investigation.
According to him, Ayesha, wife of Ahmed, the resident of F-8/4, appeared before officials of Police Station (PS) Kohsar and stated she used to work in office of Caowei associated with import and export business in federal capital. “I had later on quit the job and went to house of Caowei on 10/2/2022 at 9:30pm to clear my dues with the former boss when he dragged me inside the house and raped me forcefully,” the victim mentioned in the FIR.
She asked police to register case against the rapist and to arrest him,.
Police, while taking action, lodged FIR under section 376 of Pakistan Penal Code and rounded up the accused during a raid.
The detained rapist confessed before investigators that he had weapons in his house. Following the confession of the accused, he said, a police team raided the house and found 3 guns, two pistols, magazines and hundreds of bullets from a cupboard of his room.
The accused could not produce the licenses of the weapons upon which another case under AOJ 13/20/65 was also registered besides seizing the illegal weapons, he said.
The accused will be produced before a court of law today (Saturday) to obtain his physical remand for further investigation.
