FAISALABAD: The Deputy Commissioner, Ali Shehzad’s surprise visit to various areas to check the cleanliness situation where he inspected the cleaning operation on the roads as well as the streets at morning.
CEO Faisalabad Waste Management Company, Bilal Feroz Joya and other officers of the relevant departments were also present. The Deputy Commissioner visited Sidhupura, Panj Pulli, Darbar Qaim Sain road and other areas and while inspecting he checked the presence of waste workers and said to them, that the cleaning process should be completed in the city earlier the commencement of normal routine life.
He further said that more durable steps should be taken to raise the standard of cleanliness so that the city may look clean and beautiful in all respect as per the expectations of the citizens.
He directed to dispose off garbage in a save manner and asked that the attendence of the waste workers should be monitored regularly.
He further asked the residents of the various areas about the presence of Waste workers and performance of them.
Regarding some certain public complaints, he asked the CEO for its early resolve.
He distributed the awareness phamplets among the residents and appealed them to cooperate with cleanliness team.
CEO, FWMC briefed about the cleanliness plan and its current implementation.
