DC Faisalabad honors nurses for extraordinary service

FAISALABAD: On the directions of the Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, a guard of honor was presented to the nurses of government hospitals by the district administration in recognition of their services. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Qaiser Abbas Rind presented bouquets to the Nursing Superintendents of Allied Hospital, District Headquarters Hospital, Government General Hospital Samanabad, Ghulam Muhammadabad, Haseeb Shaheed Colony, Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology and saluted their valuable services in the health sector. Assistant Commissioner Sadar Ghulam Mustafa Jutt, Incharge Control Room DC Office Muhammad Sadiq, Educationist Muhammad Akhtar Butt and other officers were also present on the occasion.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner General said that for the first time in history, nurses have been presented with Guard of Honor. He said that the district administration was taking extraordinary steps for the respect and development of the nursing sector and the facilities and sense of security were being ensured for the nurses who were tasked with protecting the precious life like human life. On the occasion, Nursing Superintendent DHQ Madam Nargis and other nurses said that it is an honor to receive such an honor as the Guard of Honor for which we thanked Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.
