FAISALABAD :The benefits of Ramzan Bazars are being provided to the masses and proper monitoring is also being carried out to maintain the Ramzan arrangements.
This was stated by the Secretary Archeology Punjab Saqib Manan while visiting to Ramzan Bazar Chatri wali ground Jinnah Colony, Kaleem Shaheed Park and the bazar of Tehsil Samundri and reviewed the prices and quality of essential items including fruits, vegetables, sugar, rice, mutton and chicken. He said that the Punjab Government has been taking all out measures for providing relief to the consumers during the holy month of Ramzan and Ramzan
Package is being implemented for providing subsidy on flour and sugar and other items as well. He expressed his satisfaction over the Ramzan Bazaar arrangements and stressed upon maintaining these arrangements in letter and spirit. Adding he said that it was one of the appreciate steps to provide all daily essential items on cheaper rates under one roof which was a big relief to the public. He checked the purchase process of sugar and flour and checked the record also. Earlier the Deputy Commissioner Ali Shahzad gave briefing to the Secretary at DC office. He informed the Secretary that Punjab Govt has decided to sell at least 5 Kilogram Patato to buyers while other items would also available in two Kilograms except Lemon and Garlic. He gave detail of other subsidies items. ADCR Fazal e Rabi Cheema, ACs Umar Maqbool, Sahibzada Yousaf and other officers were also present in the occasion.
