Fire breaks out in Margalla Hills again

-Army helping in extinguishing blaze

ISLAMABAD: A fire has broken out in the Margalla Hills again on Sunday.
It is reported that thick fumes of smoke are rising in the air from the Margalla Hills. The fire broke out on Trail 5 in the Margalla Hills, and it is spreading fast in the forest.
The locals fear to be affected by the fire in the Margalla Hills.
It is to be noted here that a fire had erupted in the forests of Margalla Hills a few days back, and it had been overcome with hectic efforts.
It also merits a mention here that the incidents of fire eruption in the forests of the country are increasing apparently due to intense heat of the summer.
ISPR adds: Army assisting civil administration in extinguishing fire on Malgalla Hills, Islamabad. Two Pakistan Army Aviation Helicopters were flown to affected area.
Helicopters through multiple sorties used bambi buckets carrying water for extinguishing the fire. FIre fighting still continues.
