Islamabad: AHTC Islamabad Zone FIA team on Sunday arrested a murderer Muhammad Basharat S/O Mohammad Hussain R/O Mirpur AJK aged 49 years.
He committed murder in Wales, United Kingdom on May 1995. After that he fled the country and was declared as a Fugitive by UK police.
On reaching Pakistan he changed his identity to Mr Zameer Ali S/O Muhammad Aslam . This successful arrest operation was conducted in close cooperation of the UK National Crime Agency ( NCA) Islamabad. The team was headed by Addl Dir Zubair Ahmed and Si Shakir .This successful arrest operation shows the excellent working relationship of Pakistan and UK LEAs. Pakistan is not a safe heaven for any criminals.
