PTI leader shot dead in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) local leader and prominent business personality Majid Satti, resident of Kotli Sattiyan, was shot dead by unknown assailants at Rawalpindi, here on Tuesday.
According to the police, the incident occurred on Pindi’s Sixth Road when armed men gunned down PTI leader Satti.
The PTI leader was admitted to a hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his wounds.
Police have launched further investigation into the case.

It is pertinent to mention here that police contingents conducted a raid at a room being used by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr Shahbaz Gill at Parliament Lodges.

During the checking of the room, the raiding police team led by senior superintendent police (SSP) confiscated different cards and other items. It emerged that Gill’s room at Punjab House will also be searched.
