RAWALPINDI: Namaze Janaza of Shaheed Captain Abdul Wali Wazir, who was martyred during an IBO on Monday, was offered Tuesday at his native town Kari Kot, Wana, South Waziristan, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
“Civil and Military officials and a large number of people from all walks of life attended the Namaze Janaza”, the military’s media affairs wing said.
The statement added Shaheed Officer studied at Cadet College Wana and was recently married. Maj Gen Muhammad Munir Afsar, IGFC KP south laid wreath. A contingent of Pakistan Army presented guard of honour. Shaheed was buried with full military honour.
Captain Wali shaheed embraced shahadat during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) against terrorists in which 4 terrorists were killed. Captain Wali led the operation ensuring elimination of terrorists, the statement concluded. – ISPR
