ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital police have arrested an accused involved in attempting murder charge, a police public relations officer said.
According to the details, a police absconder was arrested by the PS Bani Gala police team during the operation. The accused was involved in attempting murder charge, accused was absconding and latterly arrested by police team. The accused was identified as Ehtisham Kayani . Police team also recovered one kalashnikov, 12 bore gun, one 9MM pistol with ammunition from his possession. Cases have been registered against him and further investigation is underway.
DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha further directed all zonal officers to accelerate efforts against criminal elements in the city to curb the crime and to save the lives and property of the citizens. Citizens are also requested to cooperate with police and inform about any suspicious activity around them.
