Nine caught, arms & daggers recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended nine outlaws possessing illegal weapons and involved in criminal activities and recovered weapons with ammunition from their possession.
DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in criminal activities and looting innocent people.
Following these directives, the Secretariat police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Raisat and Muhammad Bilal and recovered two 30 bore pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Likewise, the Ramana police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Zahid and Muhammad Isamil and recovered two pistols along with ammunition from their posession.
Similarly, Tarnol police arrested an accused namely Muhammad Zubair and recovered a dagger from his posession. Noon police arrested an accused namely Adil Khan and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from his possession.
Moreover, Sabzi Mandi police arrested two accused namely Abdul Waris and Bilal and recovered one pistol and dagger from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During a special crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders police teams arrested one accused.
DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha said that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
