ISLAMABAD: In an effort to strengthen educational cooperation between China and Pakistan, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has invited students to avail the Chinese Government Scholarship Program 2023-24.
The Chinese Scholarship Council, Govt. of China is offering Pakistani students/scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese Universities. HEC is the nominating government agency for these scholarships in the academic year 2023-24.
The scholarships are available at Bachelor, Masters, and Ph.D. levels.
The academic programs include Science, Medicine, History, Engineering, Economics, Literature, Philosophy, Legal Studies, Agriculture, Education, Fine Arts, etc.
China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education, People’s Republic of China, is responsible for the enrollment and administration of the Chinese Government Scholarship Program. Qualified applicants can apply for scholarships for Undergraduate/Bachelor, Masters & Doctoral/Ph.D. programs in their respective fields of study. Interested applicants can apply at HEC with a deadline of December 15, 2022.
Pakistan and China have constituted clusters of universities jointly working on various disciplines. So far, 193 Pakistani students have been awarded scholarships under the Chinese Govt Scholarship Programme, including 40 in 2019, 58 in 2020, 59 in 2021, and 36 in 2022. –Agencies
