ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Jamhoori League (PJL), Rana Zaman Saeed has said that that Poet of the East Allama Muhammad Iqbal through his revolution poetry gave a lesson of life to the humanity and his thoughts are beacon for us.
Talking to media on the occasion of Iqbal Day marked on Wednesday, he said that Allama Iqbal was a great poet and his thoughts have solution of maximum problems faced by us today.
Lamenting the corrupt political leadership, Rana Zaman said that they have become an example of dishonesty for the international community which was shameful matter.
He said that all efforts of the corrupt politicians were aimed at to come into power instead of resolving the problems faced by the country and its people.
Without getting rid of the corrupt leadership engaged in looting the national exchequer for last four decades, it was not possible to pave the country on venue of development and progress, he added.
The Chairman PJL said that we should learn from the thoughts of the national poet if want to get rid of the prevailing crisis.
The global community has entered into new era but we are in the grip of inherited and family, he stated.
Rana Zaman Saeed that we would have to give opportunity to youth to lead the country to end inherited politics.
He said that souls of Quaid e Azam and Allam Muhammad Iqbal also have also been in aching seeing the attitude of our politicians and situation created due to personal difference among the corrupt politicians.
The PJL chairman said that general election should be announced to end the prevailing anarchy and distress created in the country. The corrupt
politicians instead of granting them NRO should be put behind bars and made example for others, he concluded.
