RAWALPINDI: The police arrested nine drug peddlers, recovered narcotics during separate actions in different areas of the Rawalpindi on Thursday.
During operations conducted against liquor suppliers in Ratta Amral, Nasirabad, Racecourse, Gujar Khan and Kalar Syedan police stations jurisdictions in Rawalpindi, police arrested six accused including Basharat, Asad, Rafique, Farooq, Ghulam Qamar and Zameer besides recovery of 45 liters liquor from their possession.
Meanwhile, police during crackdowns against drug suppliers in Civil Lines, Ratta Amral, and Mandra police stations jurisdictions recovered 1.760 kilogram hashish from their possession.
The police confiscated the recovered liquor, hashish and after registering separate cases against detainees at concerned police stations started investigations.
