ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops conducted a joint search and combing operation in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi police station. Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, search and combing operations are being conducted in different areas of the city, to ensure the safety and security of the Islamabad citizens.
Following these orders, a joint search and combing operation by Islamabad capital police and Rawalpindi police was conducted in the jurisdiction PS Sabzi Mandi areas by Local police, CTD Islamabad, Rawalpindi police and Quick response teams under the supervision of SDPO Sabzi Mandi.
During the search operation, 45 suspects were checked. Ten suspicious persons and 07 illegal bikes were shifted to the police station for verification. IGP Islamabad said that the purpose of the search and combing operations was to heighten the security in the Federal capital. All divisional police officers were directed to continue these operations in their respective areas. Citizens are also requested to cooperate with police during checking.
