Eight busted, drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops apprehended eight outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directives, the Bhara Kahu police team arrested two accused namely Atiq Ahmed and Hamad Abbasi and recovered one 9mm pistol and 520 gram hashish from their possession. Likewise, the Golra police team arrested 03 accused namely Muhammad Zubair, Asif Ali and Badsha Gul and recovered 2465 gram hashish and one 9mm pistol from their possession. Similarly, the Sangjani police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Yahiya Khan and Muhammad Ejaz and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition and 1230 gram hashish from their possession. Sabzi Mandi police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Khaliq and recovered 250 gram hashish from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
