Traffic Division gets new office after 17 years

ISLAMABAD: Traffic Division of Islamabad Capital Police has got its new office after 17 years as it was previously established in green belt in Sector F-8, Islamabad.
With the special interest of the IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, Islamabad Capital Police Traffic get its office which is being shifted from Sector F-8 to Faizabad.
IGP Islamabad told that the F-8 residents were facing traffic congestion and parking issues due the traffic office which will now be solved adding that Capital Police Officer Safe City and Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad played an important role in the establishment of the new headquarters with the cooperation of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Islamabad.
The new traffic headquarters will be formally inaugurated by the Federal Minister of Interior. The new office will have proper accommodation and other arrangements for police officials.
The shifting process will continue for a limited time period.
