13 including five absconders arrested

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops apprehended thirteen outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Phulgaran police team arrested an accused namely Shahwaiz involved in drug peddling and recovered 1460 gram heroin from his possession. Shahzad Town police team arrested two accused namely Usman and Sami Ullah involved in possessing illegal weapons and drug peddling and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition and 1015 gram hashish from their possession. Similarly, the Khanna police team arrested two accused namely Azan Bilal and Zulqaiser involved in possessing illegal weapons and drug peddling and recovered one 30 bore pistol and 1034 gram heroin from their possession. The Koral police team arrested an accused namely Saddique Bhatti and recovered 30 liter liquor from his possession.
Moreover, the Lohi Bher police team arrested two accused namely Sami Ullah and Sultan Ahmad and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession. Kirpa police team arrested an accused namely Asad Riaz involved in drug peddling and recovered 1250 gram hashish from his possession.
During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested four absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
