-Valuables worth Rs 2.7m recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Sangjani team arrested five wanted accused of a criminal gang involved in a series of criminal activities and recovered valuables worth Rs 2.7 million from their possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directions, a Sangjani Police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending five wanted members of a criminal gang involved in a series of criminal activities in Sangjani police station jurisdiction. The accused were identified as Qaseem Khan, Yaseen Khan, Mehtrani, Hashmat Ullah and Gul Zawar. Police team also recovered stolen valuables worth Rs 2.7 million from their possession. During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed their involvement in various criminal activities.

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 13 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Phulgran police team arrested an accused namely Sarajad Hussain and recovered 1310 gram hashish from his possession. Likewise, the Ramna police team arrested a drug peddler namely Hamza Farooq and recovered 125 gram hashish from his possession.
Similarly, the Golra police team arrested an accused namely Samaim Farjad and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Sangjani police team arrested an accused namely Talah Shafique and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Moreover, the Nilore police team arrested an accused namely Saad Majeed and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Kirpa police team arrested an accused namely Mehtab and recovered one repeater gun with ammunition from his possession.
Furthermore, the Noon police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Tariq and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested six absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Two wanted members of snatchers’ gang held

ISLAMABAD: Lohi Bher police team arrested two wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in snatching activities and recovered mobile phone and cash from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directions, a Lohi Bher police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities in various areas of the city. The accused were identified as Muhammad Imtiaz and Muhammad Shahbaz.
Police team also recovered mobile phones and cash from their possession. Case was registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
