Accused involved in harassment arrested, weapons recovered

Islamabad: Islamabad capital police Shahzad Town police team apprehended four outlaws involved in aerial firing and harassing a rickshaw driver and recovered weapons with ammunition and vehicle from their possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the anti-social elements involved in illegal activities.
Following these directives, during the patrolling Shahzad Town police team received information from citizen that he was traveling through Shahzad Town police station jurisdiction. While, four accused stopped his rickshaw and harassed him and started aerial firing.
Upon receiving the information the Shahzad Town police team took prompt action and arrested the accused on the spot and shifted them to the police station. The accused were identified as Umer, Naqash, Ehsan and Waqar Younas.
