PSL is an event people wait for the whole year and one team that is loved by everyone may they support them or not is Peshawar Zalmi. Owned by Javed Afridi with Darren Sammy’s name attached, Peshawar Zalmi played a big role in bringing international players to Pakistan thus increasing the already present love for Peshawar in hearts of Pakistanis.
Peshawar Zalmi as a franchise has had the biggest stars of Pakistan Mahira Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi as their brand ambassadors and they also put out a Zalmi anthem every year. The new Zalmi anthem has been sung by Naughty Boy, Khumaariyan, Zahoor, Bilaal Avaz and Altamash while Hamza Ali Abbasi and Mahira Khan are back with a bang.
