Five car lifters caught, stolen vehicles recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Bani Gala team arrested five accused involved in a car lifting incident and recovered five stolen vehicles from their possession.
Following the directions of the IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in bike and car lifting incidents in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Bani Gala police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending five accused involved in a car lifting incident. The accused were identified as Fayyaz Ali, Zaryab, Awais, Shahbaz and Hassan Abbas.
Police team also recovered five stolen vehicles from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

Four of criminal gang busted, booty recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Khanna team arrested four wanted members of street criminals gang and recovered snatched motorbikes, laptop, mobile phones, cash and stolen valuables from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
According to the details, a Khanna police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending four wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in numerous snatching activities. The accused were identified as Arslan, Abu Bakar, Saif Ur Rehman and Shahzaib.
Police team also recovered seven motorbikes, laptops, 13 mobile phones, four laptops, cash and stolen valuables from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting incidents at expressway and various areas of the city.

2 wanted crooks booked, cash & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police Ramna police team arrested two wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in snatching activities and recovered three motorbikes, seven mobile phones, cash and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directions, a Ramna police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a snatcher gang involved in snatching activities in the various areas of the city. The accused were identified as Asad and Muhammad Ejaz.
Police team also recovered three motorbikes, seven mobile phones, cash and weapons with ammunitions used in crime from their possession. Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

13 busted, arms & drugs recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 13 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Kohsar police team arrested an accused namely Anwar Masih and recovered 150 gram heroin from his possession. Likewise, the Bhara Kahu police team arrested an accused namely Khayyam Ilyas and recovered 1115 gram hashish from his possession.
Similarly, the Phulgran police team arrested three accused namely Shafqat Muneer, Muhammad Nadeem, and Naeem Ahmed and recovered 1090 gram heroin and 590 gram hashish from their possession. Sangjani police team arrested three accused namely Amjad Khan, Habib Ullah and Waheed Gul and recovered one 30 bore pistol and two daggers from their possession.
Moreover, the Shehzad Town police team arrested an accused namely Sardar Bacha involved in drug peddling and recovered 1087 gram hashish from his possession.
During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested four absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
