ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops arrested 21 absconders involved in heinous crime during the last week.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, special tasks were assigned to all police officials to ensure the arrest of proclaimed offenders involved in heinous crimes.
During the crackdown, PS Noon, PS Industrial Area, PS Tarnol, PS Bani Gala, PS Aabpara and PS Sihala teams arrested 21 absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city during the last week.
Islamabad Capital Police is taking all possible steps to eradicate crime from the city and those involved in heinous crimes and illegal activities will be dealt with iron hands. Safety to the lives and property of the citizens is the foremost priority of Islamabad capital police.
Two members of house burglar gang caught

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad capital police Shalimar police team arrested two members of a house burglar gang involved in numerous burglaries activities and recovered valuables from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in burglaries activities in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directives, the Shalimar police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two members of a house burglar gang involved in numerous criminal activities. The accused were identified as Muhammad Sheraz and Amber Bibi.
Police team also recovered valuables including gold ornaments worth Rs 2.5 million from their possession. During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in numerous criminal activities. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Six busted, drugs
& arms recovered
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended six outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Tarnol police team arrested an accused namely Ahmad Ullah and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Noon police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Tariq involved in drug peddling and recovered 1310 gram heroin from his possession.
Similarly, the Nilore police team arrested an accused namely Asad Mehmood and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Koral police arrested an accused Muhammad Rizwan involved in illegally selling petrol. During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested two absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
