Four members of criminal gang busted

ISLAMABAD: PS Shams Colony police team have arrested four wanted members of a criminal gang involved in looting citizens at gunpoint and recovered weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
According to the details, a Sham Colony police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending four wanted members of a criminal gang. The accused were identified as Sher Ali, Babar, Adnan and Khalil. The accused were involved in looting citizens at gunpoint.
Police team also recovered weapons with ammunition used in crime from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

Wanted member of bike lifter gang booked

ISLAMABAD: PS Lohi Bher team apprehended a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in bike lifting incidents and recovered two stolen motorbikes and spare parts from his possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in car and bike lifting incidents in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, the Lohi Bher police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in a bike lifting incident.
Police team also recovered two stolen motorbikes and spare parts from his possession. The accused was identified as Nadeem Aslam. Case has already registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.

Crackdown against kite sellers, flyers on

ISLAMABAD: PS Bhara Kahu, PS Kohsar, PS Secretariat, PS Sihala, PS Karachi Company and PS Industrial Area teams arrested 21 accused involved in kites selling and flying and recovered kites and flying string rolls from their possession. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused.
Following the special directives of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police were taking strict action in accordance with the law.
The parents are requested to stop their children from getting involved in such activities as a crackdown against kite sellers and flyers had already been accelerated in the city. Special squads had been formed to net the violators while SDPO’s and Station House Officers were also taking part in the operation.

Five nabbed, drugs
& arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Cops apprehended five outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Sangjani police team arrested an accused namely Mohsin Sattar and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Noon police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Tariq involved in drug peddling and recovered 1310 gram heroin from his possession.
Similarly, the Sihala police team arrested an accused namely Sajjad Khan and recovered 1050 gram hashish from his possession. During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested two absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
