ISLAMABAD: Robbery and Dacoity Unit (RDU) police team apprehended four accused involved in looting warehouses and recovered cash, valuables worth Rs 44.1 million, weapons and truck used in crime from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the robbery and dacoity Unit (RDU) police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending four wanted members of an inter-provisional dacoit gang. The accused were identified as Fazal Ghani, Abdul Rehman, Shah Zaman and Ehathisham Ali.
The accused were involved in looting warehouses. Police team also recovered valuables worth Rs 41.1 million, weapons with ammunition and truck used in crime from their possession.
During preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in looting a warehouse in Sihala police station Jurisdiction. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

10 booked, drugs
& arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Cops apprehended 10 outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Bani Gala police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Ali and Tariq Hussain and recovered 1652 gram hashish from their possession, while police team also arrested two accused namely Lalwaar Shah and Saif Ur Rehman involved in illegally cylinder gas refilling.
Likewise, the Industrial Area police team arrested an accused namely Irfan Ali and recovered 210 gram hashish from his possession. The Shams Colony police team arrested an accused namely Rasheed and recovered 520 gram hashish from his possession.
Similarly, the Koral police arrested an accused namely Abdul Raheem and recovered 1485 gram hashish from his possession. During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested three absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

Wanted member of thieves’ gang busted, cash recovered

Islamabad capital police Shahzad town police team have arrested a wanted member of a thief gang and recovered stolen cash from his possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
According to the details, a Shahzad Town police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a thief gang. The accused was identified as Muhammad Saghir.
Police team also recovered stolen cash from his possession. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.

2 of bike lifter gang caught, stolen motorbikes recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Kirpa team apprehended two wanted members of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents and recovered two stolen motorbikes and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in car and bike lifting incidents in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, the Kirpa police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.
Police team also recovered two stolen motorbikes from their possession. The accused were identified as Altaf and Tariq.
Cases have already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.
