ISLAMABAD: PS Sihala’s Homicide Wing team have arrested an accused involved in murder of a woman.
According to details, on 06.03.2023 Sihala police station received an application from a citizen namely Muneeb khan who stated that his younger sister namely Esha was tortured by her husband namely Waseem Hassan who was later stabbed to death. Upon receiving the application, the Sihala Police team registered a case FIR no. 131 under section 302 PPC. Following this incident a special investigation team was constituted. The police team utilized all available resources and used technical and scientific methods and arrested the main accused namely Waseem Hassan. While further investigation is underway.
Six suspects involved in flour hoarding caught
ISLAMABAD: PS Khanna police team apprehended six accused involved in flour hoarding and recovered 873 bags of flour from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in different illegal activities. Following these directives, the Khanna police used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending six accused involved in flour hoarding and recovered 873 bags of flour from their possession. The accused were identified as Nasir, Hayat Khan, Zahir Khan, Abdul Mateen, Ismail, and Naseer Ahmed. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Bike lifter gang busted, 2 stolen motorbikes recovered
ISLAMABAD: PS Margalla police team apprehended a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents and recovered two stolen motorbikes from his possession
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in car and bike lifting incidents in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, the Margalla police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in a bike lifting incident. Police team also recovered two stolen motorbikes from his possession. The accused was identified as Abdul Wasay. Cases have already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.
Nine arrested, mobile
& arms recovered
ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops apprehended nine outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered mobile phone and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directives, the Aabpara police team arrested two accused namely Atif and Amun Anjilak and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession. The Shalimar police team arrested an accused namely Aftab Haider and recovered one 44 bore rifle from his possession.
Similarly, the Golra police team arrested an accused namely Saif Ur Rehman involved in illegally selling petrol. The Ramna police team arrested an accused namely Akhtar Murad and recovered a mobile phone from his possession.
During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested four absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
