Bike lifter caught, four stolen bikes recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Shalimar team apprehended wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents and recovered 04 stolen bike and number plates from his possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in car and bike lifting incidents in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, the Shalimar police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.
Police team also recovered 04 stolen motorbikes and number plates from his possession. The accused was identified as Danish. Cases have already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.

Five busted, arms & ammunition recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended five outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city. Following these directives, the Golra police team arrested an accused namely Ibrahim khan and recovered one 30 bore with ammunition from his possession.
Similarly, the Khanna police team arrested an accused namely Sami khan and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession. During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested three absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
