-Stolen bike recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Ramna police team apprehended a wanted member of bike lifter gang involved in a series of bike lifting incidents and recovered a stolen motorbike from his possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in car and bike lifting incidents in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directives, the Ramna police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in a series of bike lifting incidents.
Police team also recovered a stolen motorbike from his possession.
The accused was identified as Hassan Abbas. Case has already been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed his involvement in numerous bike lifting incidents and stole motorbikes from the jurisdiction of Islamabad.
Ten arrested, drugs, arms & ammunition recovered
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended ten outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Phulgran police team arrested three accused namely Ahsan Ahmad, Muhammad Haroon and Khawar Mehmood involved in drug paddling and recovered 2210 gram heroin, 1220 gram hashish and 490 gram of ice from their possession.
The Phulgran police team also arrested an accused namely Ijaz Ali possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
Likewise, the Shalimar police team arrested an accused namely Fakhar Abbas involved in drug paddling and recovered 1070 gram of hashish from his possession. The Industrial area police team arrested an accused namely Miraj Ud Din possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
Similarly, the Noon police team arrested two accused namely Farooq Ahmad and Sakina Bibi involved in drug paddling and recovered 410 gram heroin and 1125 gram of hashish from his possession.
During the crackdown against court absconders and proclaimed offenders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested 02 absconders from various areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
